Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge

The Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge is a max effort series of physical fitness events challenging athletes to maximize their performance in individual tests of strength and endurance. The Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge mirrors the initial physical screening test given to anyone who desires to become a SEAL. The event consists of swimming, push ups, sit ups, pull-ups and running. If you ever wondered how you stack against America's elite operations team, take the Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge and see how fit you really are!

All Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge competitors will be scored and ranked against each other, with all participants receiving a complimentary commemorative T-shirt, DVD, and certificate of participation. The field is limited to 20 competitors - see if you have what it takes to compete in the arena of physical strength standards set by the best of the best!

All participants will adhere to the same order of competition - beginning with the swim, followed by the push-up, sit-up and pull-up portion concluding with the run test. Each segment will be followed by a brief rest period detailed below. Just because you wrestle, doesn't mean you can measure up in the Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge.

Navy SEAL Mentors

The U.S. Navy and the NHSCA have partnered to help bring the awesome career opportunities of Navy SEAL, Special Warfare Combatantcraft Crewman (SWCC), Explosive Orginance Disposal (EOD), and Navy Diver (ND) programs to your young athletes.

If you attended any of the NHSCA wrestling championships in Virgina Beach or Salisbury, we may have had the opportunity to talk with you and your wrestlers.

Navy Recruiting has developed a nationwide Mentorship program to help candidates meet and maintain the high-level physical fitness standards of our elite programs and to provide each Navy Recruiting District with "subject matter experts" who represent SEAL, SWCC, EOD and ND communities. The Mentors - all experienced former Active Duty personnel - are there to provide accurate information concerning requirements, training and career opportunities in these elite units.

The NHSCA web site has the names and contact information for these Mentors assigned across the nation. These Mentors wish to establish relationships with coaches based on trust. They'll mentor your fine athletes and help begin their journeys towards rewarding careers in Special Warfare & Special Operations in the Navy.

If you have an athlete who is interested in defending our country and serving in American's premier maritime special operations force, we ask that you please provide them with the Mentor's contact information from your state.

Your interaction with our Mentors is in the best interest of your athlete and our nation. The United States Navy recognizes and greatly appreciates your role as coach and mentor of young men and women. It is YOU who are on the front lines, preparing them physically and mentally to succeed in the tough training environments and conditions that lie ahead.
